Kimchi-jjigae 김치찌개

Ingredients
  • 2 cups kimchi cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup kimchi sauce
  • 1/2 lb pork belly or spam
  • 1 med onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar or syrup
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp korean red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups broth beef, bone, or seafood
  • 1/2 pkg firm tofu
  • 1 green onion sliced
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients except tofu into a pot.

  2. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.

  3. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Add tofu, cover, and cook for 15 more minutes.

  5. Add green onions before serving.
